Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma booked for singing 'Chambal K Dakku'
Chandigarh Police has booked Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma for singing 'Chambal K Dakku' at a Panjab University event, which allegedly incited aggression and led to the killing of a student. The song is officially banned by the Haryana government for allegedly promoting violence. Masoom sang it despite giving prior assurance to the organisers that no controversial/banned songs would be performed.
