How did Army recover bodies of soldiers 56 yrs after IAF plane crash over Rohtang Pass?
Mountaineering teams led by Indian Army recovered bodies of four soldiers from a height of almost 16,000 feet, who'd gone missing after an IAF aircraft crashed at Himachal Pradesh's Rohtang Pass in 1968. Gallant Tangrors of Dogra Scouts launched an expedition on September 15 into the rugged terrain of Chandra Bhaga Range, battling extreme weather conditions, to locate the bodies.
