How did thieves on a scooter steal jewellery from Louvre in 7 mins with disc cutters?
The theft at the world-famous Louvre in Paris was carried out by 3-4 men who rode to the heavily-guarded museum, currently undergoing renovation, on a scooter. They used a basket lift to reach the gallery from a facade and used disc cutters to enter through the windows. They stole nine jewellery pieces in about seven minutes and fled.
