How is fake paneer dangerous for health?
Adulterated paneer is often made by substituting milk with cheaper ingredients like milk powder, vegetable oils or starches or adding chemicals to extend their shelf and copy texture. Formalin, detergents and industrial stabilisers have also been found in fake paneer. This can lead to food poisoning, vomiting, diarrhoea, allergic reactions, and long-term risks like kidney or liver damage.
