How Talaq-e-Hasan, which is under SC review, differs from now-abolished Triple Talaq?
Talaq-e-Hasan, being challenged in Supreme Court, allows Muslim man to divorce his wife by saying "talaq" once a month for three months, during a period when the wife isn't menstruating, India Today reported. The now-abolished instant Triple Talaq allows divorce by saying 'talaq' thrice in one instance and in one sitting. Talaq-e-Hasan is considered revocable, while Triple Talaq is irrevocable.
