Hurricane Erin grows in size as it barrels towards Caribbean
Hurricane Erin, downgraded to category three storm, is expected to intensify as it moves towards Caribbean's Bahamian Archipelago. The cyclone had briefly reached category five on Saturday night with powerful winds of 260km/h. The US National Hurricane Center warned its winds could spread up to 205 miles, bringing flash floods and landslides to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
