IAS officer who made 'Brahmin daughter-in-law' remark was jailed for forging judge's sign
IAS officer Santosh Verma, who triggered a row by saying reservation must stay until a Brahmin "donates" daughter to his son, was jailed in 2021 for forging a judge's signature. Verma was accused in an assault case and he committed forgery as he was due for a promotion. Verma also reportedly had an affair with his married domestic help.
