IDF reaches deepest point in Lebanon since Oct 1 invasion: Reports
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reached their deepest point in Lebanon since launching ground incursion into the country on October 1, Lebanese media reported. Israeli troops captured a strategic hill in the southern Lebanese village of Chamaa, about 5 kilometers from the Israeli border on Saturday. The troops reportedly detonated the Shrine of Shimon the Prophet in Chamaa before they withdrew.
