'The Kerala Story' actress Adah Sharma spoke about controversy surrounding the film's National Award wins and it being called "shameful" and "politically charged". Addressing backlash, she said, "If telling truth is being shameful, then I don't mind being shameless...For me, it's story of girls who are trafficked, brainwashed, and taken to become terrorists...If that is political, then so be it."
