IMF, Pakistan reach preliminary deal on $1.2 billion payout
The IMF has reached a staff-level agreement with Pakistan on its loan program, allowing the nation access to $1.2 billion pending board approval. This includes $1 billion under IMF's Extended Fund Facility and $200 million from its Resilience and Sustainability Facility.
