Income certificate shows 'India's poorest man' earning ₹3/year in MP, tehsildar replies
A 45-year-old farmer named Ramswaroop's income certificate has gone viral online as it showed his annual income to be ₹3. Multiple social media users dubbed him "poorest man in India", prompting tehsildar Saurabh Dwivedi in Madhya Pradesh's Satna to clarify, calling it a "clerical error". Ramswaroop was then issued a new certificate, stating that he earned ₹30,000/year or ₹2,500/month.
