India, US hold 2+2 Intersessional Dialogue amid tariff tensions
Senior officials from India and US held virtual 2+2 Intersessional Dialogue on Monday and discussed bilateral ties in areas of trade and investment, critical minerals, and energy security, including strengthening civil nuclear cooperation. Officials reaffirmed their commitment to promoting a safer Indo-Pacific via QUAD. The discussions occurred amid tensions over US' punitive 50% tariffs on India.
