India eyes $87 bn investment in petrochemicals over 10 years: Puri
Oil Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said India's petrochemical sector is projected to attract investments exceeding $87 billion in the next decade. He stated that the demand for products derived from petrochemicals will rise significantly "as more citizens enter the middle class". The sector is expected to grow to around $300 billion by 2025 from the current $220 billion, he stated.
