India issues high severity threat warning for headphone users
India's CERT-In has issued a high severity threat warning for all users of bluetooth headphones with Airoha Systems-on-Chip (SoCs). CERT-In said multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Airoha SoCs which can allow attackers to fully take over headphones via Bluetooth and eavesdrop on or manipulate audio communications. The firms with affected products include Sony, Bose, JBL and Marshall.
