India joins Russia-Belarus 'Zapad' drills amid trade talks with US
India has joined the Russia-Belarus 'Zapad 2025' military drills, sending 65 personnel for the five-day exercises amid ongoing trade talks with US. The manoeuvres involved 1,00,000 troops, nuclear-capable bombers, and heavy artillery. According to the Indian government, the drills aim to strengthen military cooperation with Russia. Participants also joined from countries like Iran, Bangladesh.
