India planning 113-km canal to divert Indus system's water to Punjab, H'yana, Raj: Report
India is planning to build a 113-km canal to redirect surplus water from Indus river system's Jhelum, Chenab and Indus rivers to Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, NDTV reported. The government is conducting a feasibility study for the project, which will link Chenab with Ravi-Beas-Sutlej system. The work on the project is expected to be completed in three years.
