India-Russia set to revive the BrahMos-2K hypersonic project
India and Russia are poised to reignite the BrahMos-2K hypersonic cruise missile program during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit later this year. The BrahMos-2K is the successor to the existing BrahMos missile, renowned as the world’s fastest supersonic cruise missile. This new, cutting-edge variant will be based on the Russian 3M22 Zircon—a scramjet-powered, nuclear-capable missile.
