Himachal Pradesh woman, who lost eyesight at 8, scales Everest
Chhonzin Angmo, a blind tribal woman from Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur, made history as the first Indian with total blindness to scale Mount Everest and only the fifth in the world to do so. She lost her sight when she was just eight. Angmo completed her master’s degree from Delhi University, and now works at Union Bank of India in Delhi.
