India’s first cheetah safari begins at MP’s Kuno National Park
Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh is a rare jungle nestled in the Vindhya Hills. What makes it rare is that it was the site chosen for the reintroduction of cheetahs to India. The national park has now opened its doors for tourists for cheetah safaris from October 1. Reportedly, 16 cheetahs currently roam freely in the park’s open forest.
