India's forex reserves fall for 8th straight week to $656 billion
India's forex reserves declined by $1.3 billion to $656.5 billion in the week ended November 22, as per RBI data. This is the eighth consecutive week in which the reserves dropped amid increased foreign outflows and pressure on the rupee. Foreign currency assets dipped by $3 billion to $566.7 billion, while gold reserves increased by $1.8 billion to $67.5 billion.
