India's longest underground metro line sees over 1 lakh passengers on day 1
The newly inaugurated Mumbai's Aqua Line opened to an overwhelming response on day one, with 1.46 lakh commuters using the Aarey-Cuffe Parade link by 9 pm, TOI reported. The 33.5 km Aqua Line is Mumbai's first and India's longest fully underground Metro corridor. The travel time has dropped by up to 40% and costs by 80% compared to cars.
