India’s manufacturing PMI eases to 56.6 in Nov amid US tariffs
India's manufacturing sector expanded at its slowest pace in nine months in November, with Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) at 56.6, down from 59.2 in October, according to S&P Global data. This comes as US tariffs strained export demand and weakened business sentiment. New export orders registered their weakest growth in 13 months, HSBC Chief India Economist Pranjul Bhandari said.
