India wanted terrorism mentioned in SCO document, wasn't acceptable to one country: Govt
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said on Thursday that a joint statement couldn't be adopted at the SCO meeting in China as India wanted concerns on terrorism included in the document. "It was not acceptable to one particular country," he added. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who didn't sign the document, reiterated that perpetrators and sponsors of terrorism must be held accountable.
