India won't have its ships built abroad anymore: Rajnath Singh
As the Indian Navy commissioned INS Udaygiri and INS Himgiri, two warships with 75% indigenous content, on Tuesday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh affirmed it was a decisive step towards India's self-reliance in defence production. "We have decided that the Indian Navy won't get its ships built abroad anymore. We will build our own ships in India," he said.
