India wouldn't be poor if praying to Goddess Lakshmi made one rich: Swami Prasad Maurya
RSSP chief Swami Prasad Maurya has claimed that India wouldn't be among poor nations of the world if "praying to Goddess Lakshmi made one rich". He also urged people to worship "Ghar ki Lakshmi" (the women who manage households). His remarks sparked a controversy, with VHP's Vinod Bansal saying, "Before saying this, he should've worshipped [his wife] and shown us."
