Indian Air Force to train UK’s Royal Air Force cadets
The Indian Air Force (IAF) will train the UK's Royal Air Force (RAF) cadets to fly Hawk T2 fast jets from October 2026 under a first-of-its-kind agreement as part of the India-UK defence deal. "The Indians...(will) make a valuable contribution to our training," an ex-RAF officer said. The move was announced during UK PM Minister Keir Starmer’s visit to India.
