Indian aviation sector may see up to ₹10,500 cr loss in FY26: ICRA
The Indian aviation sector's net loss is expected to nearly double to ₹9,500-10,500 crore in the current fiscal, according to a report by ICRA. "The deterioration is linked to moderating passenger growth, coupled with higher deliveries of aircraft, which increase capital and operational expenses," the report said. It further projected a 4-6% domestic passenger traffic growth in FY26.
