Indian convicted of ₹4.5 lakh cybercrime in UAE to be deported
A 26-year-old Indian man is facing deportation in UAE after being convicted in a cybercrime and digital trading scam case. A local court has convicted him of using the Telegram app to dupe an Arab national of Dh 19,920 (over ₹4.5 lakh). The man is now appealing his conviction before the court to avoid his deportation.
