Indian markets decline on weak earnings, FPI outflows
Indian equity benchmarks, Sensex and Nifty, closed lower on Thursday, July 24, driven by mixed Q1 earnings and sustained foreign capital outflows. Sensex fell 0.66% to 82,184, while Nifty 50 declined 0.63% to 25,062. IT was the top sectoral loser, down 2.21%, Nestle India dropped 5.57% on profit decline, while Eternal (Zomato) surged 3.44%.
