Indian Navy adds 2 ships, Udaygiri & INS Tamal, to its fleet
The Indian Navy welcomed two stealth frigates, Udaygiri and INS Tamal, to its fleet. Udaygiri, an indigenously built ship, is the second among the seven P17A frigates delivered to the Navy. It is capable of dealing with conventional and non-conventional threats. INS Tamal (F 71), commissioned in Russia, is the eighth multi-role stealth frigate in the series of Project 1135.6.
