Indian-origin man, having govt job in US, asked about Mamdani by masked agents
An Indian-origin man, who works with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), was stopped by masked men and asked about his immigration status. He was also questioned about Zohran Mamdani, the Indian-origin mayor-elect of NYC. Illinois Governor JB Pritzker condemned the incident, saying state employees should be able to work without masked agents targeting them for no legitimate reason.
