Indian-origin man who washed dishes at restaurant chain buys all 250 outlets after 22 years
Indian-origin Amol Kohli, who began working at Friendly's in US in 2003, bought all 250 outlets of the restaurant chain after 22 years. Kohli made about $5/hour and worked as a cook, dishwasher and even a table busser. He began investing in Friendly's after majoring in Finance and Marketing by buying a closing franchise location, which cost about $250,000.
