Indians sing patriotic songs to counter pro-Khalistan slogans in Aus on I-Day
Indians sang patriotic songs to counter pro-Khalistani slogans during an event to celebrate India's 79th Independence Day in Australia. The event was organised outside Indian consulate in Melbourne. Australian authorities reportedly reached spot and prevented situation from escalating. The tricolour was later hoisted at consulate amid chants of "Bharat Mata ki Jai" and "Vande Mataram".
