IndiGo posts ₹987 cr loss in Q2, its 1st quarterly loss in 2 years
IndiGo operator InterGlobe Aviation recorded a loss of ₹987 crore in September quarter, marking its first quarterly loss in two years. The country's largest airline by market share recorded a ₹189 crore profit in the same period last year. Over 70 grounded aircraft, rising fuel prices, and growing aircraft rental and maintenance costs were among the reasons behind the loss.
