Indonesia highway collapses into 20 m sinkhole amid Cyclone Senyar
A rural highway in West Sumatra collapsed into a 20 metre sinkhole as heavy rains from Cyclone Senyar saturated the soil, causing the road to slide away within seconds. Drivers and pedestrians escaped unharmed. A video of the same surfaced. The incident occurred amid widespread floods and landslides that have killed hundreds and displaced over a million across northern Sumatra.
