Indore Congress corporator accused of funding 'love jihad' surrenders
A Congress corporator from Indore, Anwar Qadri, surrendered before the district court in a 'love jihad' funding case. Qadri had reportedly been evading arrest for two to three months. He came to the court to surrender disguised as a lawyer. Qadri is accused of financing two rape-accused Muslim men with ₹3 lakh to marry and convert Hindu girls, officials said.
