INS Vikrant tracked Pakistani sea eagle during Operation Sindoor
During Operation Sindoor, the Indian Navy’s INS Vikrant battle group detected and tracked a Pakistani Navy RAS-72 Sea Eagle—an ATR-72-based maritime patrol aircraft—venturing close to Indian waters. Responding swiftly, a MiG-29K fighter from the carrier intercepted the aircraft, compelling it to retreat toward its coast. The immediate response of the Indian Navy exhibited its capability.
