Intel CEO dismisses reports about stealing TSMC's trade secrets
Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan dismissed reports that a new hire took trade secrets from TSMC to his company, saying that Intel respects other firms’ intellectual property. Taiwanese newspapers reported that the 75-year-old hire Lo Wen-jen allegedly took proprietary know-how from his former employer TSMC, before his departure. TSMC has opened an internal probe to determine if trade secrets were stolen.
