Investor Michael Burry, who predicted 2008 crisis, makes another ₹9,700-crore bet
Investor Michael Burry, also called 'Big Short' after he made $825 million (₹7,300 crore) by predicting the 2008 crisis and betting against it, has made another $1-billion (₹9,700 crore) bet. His firm Scion Asset Management shorted $186.58-million Nvidia and $912.10-million Palantir stocks. This essentially means he's betting against the two firms, predicting another market crash led by AI stocks.
