Iran makes exception for India, opens airspace to evacuate 1,000 Indians
Amid conflict with Israel, Iran has made an exception for India and opened its airspace to allow evacuation of 1,000 Indian nationals, mostly students. They're expected to land in Delhi over the next two days as part of the government's emergency evacuation programme, Operation Sindhu. The special flights from Mashhad-Delhi will bring them back, Iran's envoy Mohammad Javad Hosseini said.
