Israel and Syria agree to ceasefire after Druze-Bedouin clan clash
US' special envoy to Syria Tom Barrack said Israel and Syria had agreed to a ceasefire following Israel's intervention this week in fighting between Syrian government forces and Bedouin tribes and armed groups from Druze community. Syrian government forces had withdrawn from Sweida following a separate ceasefire agreed upon with Druze groups earlier. Around 600 people reportedly died in clashes.
