Israel rejects UNGA resolution on 2-state solution with Palestine
Israel strongly rejected a UN General Assembly resolution that endorsed Palestinian statehood and the two-state solution, calling the move a “political circus detached from reality.” The resolution, backed by 142 countries including India, sets out a roadmap for peace, including a ceasefire and Hamas disarmament. Ten countries, including the US, voted against it, while 12 countries abstained.
