Vishnu Manchu spoke about 'Kannappa', his upcoming film's inception and themes. While speaking about plot, Vishnu said, "'Kannappa' is a true story...It's a story about an atheist who becomes Lord Shiva's greatest devotee. This is a journey of self realisation and I kind of resonated with the script when I heard it." The film releases on June 27, 2025.
