Jaguar Land Rover may face $2.1 bn tariff burden: Chandrasekaran
Tata Motors' subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover UK (JLR) may be hit with a $2.1 billion tariff burden due to new US trade rules, Times Now reported, citing Chairman N Chandrasekaran. "Tariff is a major issue, primarily for JLR," Chandrasekaran told shareholders at the company’s Annual General Meeting. He, however, noted that mitigation strategies could reduce the burden to $790 million.
