Japan beat Brazil for 1st time, seal 3-2 win in friendlies
Japan secured their first win against Brazil, defeating them 3-2 in a friendly match on Tuesday. Though Paulo Henrique and Gabriel Martinelli's first-half goals gave an early lead to Brazil, Japan's Takumi Minamino, Keito Nakamura and Ayase Ueda found back of the net in 52nd, 62nd and 71st minutes, respectively, to clinch their first win over Brazil in 14 encounters.
