Japan raises concern over US trade deal inconsistency: PM Ishiba
Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba said that Japan won't cancel its 2019 trade deal with US but voiced "grave concern" over Donald Trump's latest 25% tariff on car imports. Ex-PM Shinzo Abe had received assurances in the past that US would not impose national security tariffs on Japanese car imports. Japan's top trade negotiator visited US last week for trade talks.
