John Clarke, Michel H Devoret & John M Martinis awarded Physics Nobel, get ₹10-cr cash prize
The 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics has been awarded to British physicist John Clarke, French physicist Michel H Devoret and American physicist John M Martinis. They've been honoured for the "discovery of macroscopic quantum mechanical tunnelling and energy quantisation in an electric circuit". A prize money of 11 million Swedish kronor (over ₹10 crore) will be shared among the trio.
