Journalist insults Hanuman deity in Pak, arrested for blasphemy
A Pakistani journalist was arrested by the Sindh Police under the country's blasphemy law for allegedly insulting the Hindu deity Hanuman and hurting religious sentiments. The man, identified as Aslam Baloch, had reportedly shared a post of Lord Hanuman on his Facebook page and the same was circulated in WhatsApp groups. Baloch could be imprisoned for 10 years if convicted.
