JSW Steel, Japan's JFE Steel form ₹15,000-crore joint venture
JSW Steel has formed a 50:50 joint venture (JV) with Japan's JFE Steel, with the latter investing ₹15,750 crore in the project. The deal involves transferring Bhushan Power and Steel’s (BPSL) integrated steel facility in Odisha to the JV between the two companies. The project expects to boost crude steel production at BPSL's steelworks to 10 million tonnes by 2030.
