The James Webb Space Telescope has discovered a galaxy shaped like an infinity symbol. It formed after two galaxies recently collided, creating its unusual structure. It has been named 'Infinity' by Yale astronomer Pieter van Dokkum. Researchers revealed it harbours a newborn supermassive black hole at its centre, which is actively pulling in large amounts of surrounding material.
